by cofty inhave you ever come across words that resonate with you?
it doesn't have to be a great gem of wisdom, just something that is meaningful to you.. please share, and if you want to, tell us why it's meaningful to you.. here is something that made me nod when i first read it.... .
"fortunate are those who have learned to see, in the wild things of nature, something to be loved, something to be wondered at, something to be reverenced, for they have found the key to a never-failing source of recreation and refreshment".

Let me see.
I´m a Gnostic, according to this:
"The religious Believer and the Atheist have both a belief built on ideas and conclusions. The Atheist believes there is no God and the believer believes there is a God.
The Agnostic has no prejudice and no biased opinions favorable or infavorable (about the possibility of the existence of God) and has no interest into finding out. The Gnostic is very similar to the Agnostic, with the distinct difference that the Gnostic has an inner need to search for the answer, to find out, e.g. through meditation."

It gives (to me) a signal that some changes may appear soon. Whatever, it´s a relief that we are free to disagree with what is written in Wt. Very nice "gift" and should be celebrated

Yeah...but it´s lovely to at last know that it ´s no prolem to disagree with what is written. Never though they would admit that.

Question regarding Faith...(adamah)
by tec inpeace!.
you have stated (and others have agreed and stated the same) that faith is not based on evidence, or it is not faith to begin with.
may i ask you, then, if you think the apostles and early disciples, who walked with christ, had faith?

The gnostic way of "knowledge of the divine" is told not to be found in this physical world. Instead in higher dimensions through a special kind of meditation that requires no thoughts, identical to the Buddhist samadi meditation.

Mr Fool
So the scale is like this:
1. An idea
2. A conviction
3. A belief is created
4. A "divine" faith is created
5. Knowledge is created (from faith) = Knowing God = knowledge replaces (not longer needed) faith, belief and confidence.

My thoughts too. A conviction on steorids and faith seems to be the same. And if it´s not, what´s the fundamental differences?
And more from the article:
